Thanks Janisse! I live in the tension of "too much information" versus "sending newsletter too often." From what I can determine, more information works better than too often, according to my readership. In any case, I'm grateful for your support!

I loved the poem. It felt to me like all of your thoughts came at once and burst onto the page. If they could have been demonstrated as bright colors it would have looked like skittles dancing across the page.

Thank you Dale! That's exactly what happened! The first draft was written very quickly, and I trusted what skittled across the page. Then, of course, the editing began. The editors at Salvation South was so helpful and encouraging in that process, making the poem much stronger, I think. Hugs to you! <3
