Good afternoon!
Welcome to my March 2023 newsletter and I hope you’ll enjoy this new format. It looks different because I’ve switched to Substack, which gives me some new options that are exciting. I’ve made this first Substack newsletter short so I can be sure the kinks are worked out. Watch for my usual newsletter later this month where I dive into a topic more deeply.
Are you as bonkers as I am about the weather? As this crazy weather blankets the country, I wonder if it’s too early to plant veggies, although it’s hotter than usual where I live. The weather this winter is teaching me to be present in the moment, and keep both a coat and flip-flops with me wherever I go. While I await Spring’s arrival, I also am content to honor the turning of the Wheel each day.
In this transition month of March, I wish you joy, balance, and opportunities to learn. Keep reading!

Just One More Thing Before You Go
Ostara celebrates the Vernal Equinox as the Wheel of the Year turns. The holiday occurs in the Northern Hemisphere on March 20. This day, like its companion Autumnal Equinox in September, is a day of balance – a day when light and dark are the same lengths of time.
“Ostara” is connected to the ancient Anglo-Saxon goddess Eostre. She represents new beginnings, the coming of spring, and birthings. Her symbols are eggs and rabbits, among others. Spring clearly is a time of renewal and rebirth – Mother Earth is waking up and life is renewing itself. So, too, can you.
And, as always, please know how grateful I am for our connection!
Thank you!
