It really is a great experience open to members of the North Carolina Writers Network only I believe. I’m grateful to have been chosen. Thank you so much Janisse for passing my substack on!

The NCWN is a great organization more than worthy of its annual membership fee. Such a great way to find out about multitudes of opportunities for writers!

I'm all teary-eyed now with your remembrances of that magical week at Weymouth! So happy such a place exists at all, and to have met a kindred spirit there is just proof that magic has a say in this world after all (even if we didn't personally meet any ghosts there...yet!)

Oh Kim, I feel the same way. Weymouth gave me many gifts, one of which was meeting you! Indeed there is magic in a world that connects us (and the ghosts who are waiting to meet us!)

The Coyote story hooked me from the beginning and the end had me holding my breath. Oh the torment I feel for all the species to which we are connected, and all the earth cycles. When will we arrest wanting for ourselves alone, and turn the tide to want for the whole? It was a pleasure to meet and be with you.

Hi Angela! How great to hear from you! I think of you often and so appreciate your kindness when I was at Weymouth. Thank you so much for your comments on my Coyote story. It was hard to write, and harder still to publish, fearful of backlash about it, but so far, the comments have been like yours. This makes me a tiny bit hopeful! You keep up the good work you're doing!
