I'm a labyrinth walker, too and know just what you are talking about and the signals I get not just then but any day of the year, I pay attention to. I like living life like that, but mine is far less full of accomplishments than yours, Deb. I on a slow track at 82 but writing every day.
Oh Maxine, how wonderful to hear from you! I hope you're well and so glad you'll look for labyrinths nearby. Try reading Lauren's book too - it's lovely and explains so much.
I so much love this piece on labyrinths. It's lovely. Thank you for the details about your process using them. Plus, I notice that you've added more beautiful things to your Substack and to your life. May the magpie be with you.
Thank you so much Janisse! And thank YOU for your pine tree Substack work! I'm sharing a link to it over the weekend. My life really was changed when I walked the Grace Cathedral labyrinth many years ago, and continues to be changed with each subsequent walk. And yes, Claire and I have a contract for a new book with a different publisher. While the first book was mostly Claire's craft work, this one is mostly my writing. I'm excited about this series of courses that begin this coming week! And, my environmental writing continues with our wonderful regional magazine, Encore. Sending you lots of light.

You keep walking labyrinths and writing Gabriele! It doesn't matter your pace, what matters is that you're doing what fills your soul!
Blessings to you,
Deb
Lovely read…prompted me to seek labyrinths near me 💚
