Good afternoon!
Welcome to a special edition of my newsletter, and a special welcome to all you new subscribers! I’m honored you’ve joined me!
I want to share two important events with you.
First, after months of preparation, here’s the course you asked me to teach!
Symbols, Archetypes and Tarot: Ancient Wisdom to Guide You
Who are you? Where are you on your quest to self-discovery? The symbols in your daily life can take you deep into your unspoken heart’s desire and your connection to the world around you. You also live every day with archetypes – you see yourself some days as Wonder Woman, other days as Cinderella, and other days as a High Priestess – universal concepts that we all share.
Wisdom from ancient cultures, beliefs, and mythologies offer insights into you who you are, and one of the best ways to find your personal symbols and archetypes is through the images and meanings of Tarot keys.
You share many qualities with the archetypes of The Fool, The High Priestess, The Hermit, and others in Tarot. You embody symbolic traits found in The Chariot, Temperance, Death, and other Tarot keys. The four Minor Arcana suits – Wands, Swords, Cups, and Pentacles – give you glimpses into yourself and your relationships with others.
This course offers insight into the common symbols and metaphors we share and teaches you to see into the mirror that Tarot holds up to yourself. Join me to learn how you are related to enduring figures throughout history and across cultures. The work of Joseph Campbell, Carl Jung, Edith Hamilton, Eden Gray, A.E. Waite, Pamela Colman Smith, and other theorists help us dive into the depths of who we are, as shown to us by Tarot.
Please note this course does not teach you to read Tarot, but rather offers you guideposts to yourself through symbols, myths, and archetypes – so much fun!

World Labyrinth Day
In the summer of 1999, I walked the indoor labyrinth at Grace Cathedral in San Francisco. My barefooted pilgrimage to myself that day led me to discover not only unknown parts of myself but offered a way of exploring a world filled with beliefs and thoughts and experiences I’d never dared dream of.
Saturday, May 6 is World Labyrinth Day. You are invited to walk a labyrinth (or walk the one in the picture below with your finger) wherever you can at 1 pm in your time zone, joining a rolling prayer for peace around the globe. The walk is titled “Walk as One for Peace.”
World Labyrinth Day is sponsored by The Labyrinth Society and Veriditas, organizations that teach and promote labyrinths around the world. On both websites below there is a labyrinth locator to help you find a labyrinth near you, and to answer your questions about walking the labyrinth.

A labyrinth is not a maze, you can’t get lost. There is one path into the center, and you walk the same path back out. The walk is meditative and mystical.
Dr. Lauren Artress, Canon Emeritus of Grace Cathedral, who brought the labyrinth project to the United States, says in her book, Walking a Sacred Path: Rediscovering the Labyrinth as a Spiritual Tool, that the labyrinth walk has three stages: purgation, illumination, and union. Winding your way to the center is a time of releasing, and letting go. In the stillness of the center, illumination comes, and your walk out is a joyous union, a oneness with yourself, and with all that is.
I will walk a beautiful labyrinth etched on the floor of a church near me at 1 pm on Saturday, May 6, setting my intention for peace. I hope you’ll join me wherever you are at 1 pm your time

Just One More Thing Before You Go
As the merry month of May begins, I wish you joy. I wish you time, so that you, like the seeds planted at Beltane, have time to grow and be nurtured. I wish you time for laughing and learning. Most of all I wish you peace and love.
You’ll receive another newsletter from me later in the month that will contain this month’s meditation and so much more!
Thank you!!!
I love your calm crone energy.
