What Do My Dreams Mean?
How To Interpret Your Dream Symbols
Wednesday, November 13
8:00 – 9:30 pm eastern time
Only $45!
Since prehistoric times, humanity has been awed by the work and musings of the subconscious mind. Dream interpretation has changed the course of history – think the Pharaoh and Joseph, King David, Abraham Lincoln’s prophetic dreams about his death – this list is endless!
But what about YOUR dreams? One of the most frequently asked questions I receive from podcast listeners and clients is “please tell me what the dream I had last night means?” We’ve all had those dreams that terrify us, that puzzle us, that bring us overwhelming sadness, or overwhelming joy. We know intuitively that the people and places in our dreams mean something, but what? We also know there are times that an object in our dream is, as Freud said, “a cigar is just a cigar” – and times when it isn’t. But HOW do we know which is which?
A search through the internet leaves you baffled and confused. What sources can you trust? That’s where this workshop can help! You learn in this course how to:
* remember your dreams
* remember details in your dreams
* successfully and consistently keep a dream journal
* use your dream journal for interpretation of your dreams
* recognize patterns in your dreams
* recognize and work with archetypes and symbols
* develop a “dictionary” of personal symbols
* determine various types of dreams and what they mean
All you have to do to join this course is to DIAL a phone number and you’ll be connected to me and your classmates through a teleconference. It’s easy and available from wherever you are in the world!

Tarot Meditation for November: The Hermit
This deceptively simple key is one of my favorites in Tarot. The key depicts a man cloaked in gray, standing on a mountaintop, holding a staff and a lantern, both of which emit a yellow light. The light shining forth from the lantern is in the shape of the six-pointed star, the seal of Solomon, the way to wisdom. It also represents the concept of “as above, so below.” The lamp is the Lamp of Truth, says Eden Gray, and illuminates the way to all who seek truth.
The mountaintop may be the same as the one upon which The Fool stands, except in this key, it indicates that wisdom has been attained.
The staff is that of the patriarch on the path of initiation. His gray cloak represents discretion.
As the ninth key in the Major Arcana, The Hermit represents a cycle of completion of initiation, the trinity of trinities, and mastery.
The Hermit reminds us that, wherever we may be along our path to enlightenment, there is help, and there is hope. Ask, and it shall be given. Seek, and answers come. Guides appear when we ask, but we must remember to ask.
Honoring the New Year at Samhain and the Growing Darkness
Halloween, or “All Hallows Eve” comes to us from the Christian tradition of honoring the saints and departed loved ones on All Souls Day and All Saints Day. However, long before there was All Hallows Eve on October 31 in the Christian tradition, there was Samhain in Celtic pagan lands.
The word Samhain is Gaelic and means “summer’s end.” In agrarian cultures, it is the demarcation point between the end of summer and fall harvest times and the time to nestle inside beside the fires of winter. The final harvest is complete, the food prepared and stored away.
Samhain also heralds the time to honor the ancestors across the veil in the Summerlands. Now is the time (along with the holiday of Beltane in May) to create elaborate altars in their honor, prepare their favorite foods, and practice divination methods in an attempt to communicate with them.
But in that time after Samhain and before Yule, as the darkness descends earlier and earlier each evening, and the family is gathered safely in, it is reflection time. In the quiet before the flickering fire, we ask ourselves the difficult questions.
Who am I? Where have I been? What have I accomplished? What have I given to the world this year? What can I do better next year? What can I do to be more of service to the world next year? What light do I bring into the world?
These are some of the questions I’ll be asking myself during November and December as the darkness reigns. I’ll ask for guidance from my relatives and friends across the veil, and from my Guides. As always, I’ll walk along Mother Ocean’s shore, and listen for answers in the waves. Then, when the light returns at Yule, I may begin to know some of the answers. I invite you to join me in your own search.

My Deb & Friends: Quest for Connection podcast has taken some shifts and turns over the past few months. Hurricane Florence last September wreaked havoc on the lives of
much of the team. Some of us have been ill or had family members with serious illnesses, and others of the team have taken their lives in new directions. All that being said, the podcast continues to air new episodes periodically, and has been in iTunes Top 15 Spirituality category recently. This podcast also is broadcast FREE!
