Renew You- March 2022
Dear ,
Do you, like me, fly off into the ethers some days, as time melts away to who knows where? I start a project with morning coffee in hand, and the next thing I know, it’s mid-afternoon. I have a deep need right now to renew myself, to be aware of my place in the world, and to focus on the present, just as the Wheel of the Year turns again, and life is renewing itself.
We often say on PsychicTeachers Podcast how important it is to ground and center before you face your day. In winter, I usually do this exercise either in my kitchen while I wait for coffee to brew, or in the shower. Now that the weather is getting nicer, I’m heading outdoors instead.
You know the process – but here’s a synopsis:
Stand barefoot on Mother Earth, breathe deeply, and see yourself as a conduit of energy that flows up from Mother Earth, through you to Father Sky, and back again, circling always in a flow of light and kindness – a reminder that you are a part of the whole.
I find that when I do this exercise consistently, I’m more focused and organized. I have a better connection to the natural world around me, and to Spirit within me. Give yourself the gift of five minutes and try it!

Just One More Thing Before You Go
Ostara celebrates the Vernal Equinox as the Wheel of the Year turns. The holiday occurs in the Northern Hemisphere on Sunday, March 20. This day, like its companion Autumnal Equinox in September, is a day of balance – a day when light and dark are the same length of time.
“Ostara” is connected to the ancient Anglo-Saxon goddess Eostre. She represents new beginnings, the coming of spring, and birthings. Her symbols are eggs and rabbits, among others. Spring clearly is a time of renewal and rebirth – Mother Earth is waking up and life is renewing itself. So, too, can you.
It's time to clean out from our winter hibernation. It’s time to be deeply connected to the world around us and to participate in whatever ways we can to bring peace and joy to all beings. It’s time to cultivate our internal (and external) garden so that we bloom and flower and bear fruit of connection, hope, and promise to a weary world.
