Dear ,
What do you need and want to learn this year? I mean metaphysical and spiritual concepts, beyond psychic or mediumship or divination work. I mean those overarching concepts that teach us how to be in the world, how to connect with Spirit, with each other, and with ourselves. Here are some examples:
Commonalities among world beliefs and cultures
Lessons from earth, sea, and sky
The cosmos both out there, and within us
Mary Magdalene and the Divine Feminine
How symbols such as the Holy Grail, labyrinths, and Awen bring meaning to our lives every day
How myths and stories connect us to ourselves
How we age into our true selves
There are many more related concepts, of course, and I’d appreciate knowing your ideas.

Crystal/Tarot Key of the Month
Here’s an excerpt from my new booklet Crystals and Tarot: The Major Arcana.
Key 10: The Wheel of Fortune
Kyanite
Once again, Tarot teaches us to pay attention to connections among belief systems, cultures, and symbols. Because one is the number of new beginnings in numerology, The Wheel of Fortune symbolizes a new phase of learning along The Fool’s journey. As The Wheel of Fortune spins, there is a reminder for you to find balance between that which you perceive to be negative and positive, and to realize that light and dark are two sides of the same energy that is ever-spinning in the universe.
Three wheels turn within each other, signifying creative force, power, and the physical world, just as you saw in the tiers in the Hierophant’s crown. Adorning the corners of the key are four animals that represent the four fixed signs of the zodiac: the bull of Taurus, the lion of Leo, the eagle of Scorpio, and the man/angel of Aquarius. These beings also represent the four elements of, respectively, Earth, Fire, Air, and Water. The Sphinx appears again, this time at the top of the Wheel, representing balance and choice.
Kyanite reminds you that you have choices. Its blade shape reminds you that you can cut through fears, anger, indecision. It teaches you to trust that there are reasons for situations in your life and that universal energy is always working around and through you.
Kyanite never needs cleaning, will not hold negative energy, attunes other stones, and opens and aligns all your chakras. It is calming and releases anger and fear by connecting you to universal energy. Kyanite is an excellent stone for meditation, connecting you to your guides, and teaching you to combine your intuition with deep universal love.

Just One More Thing Before You Go
You might recall that one of my commitments this year is focused energy. That commitment, of course, pushes me to examine my relationship with time. I’m contemplating how I spend my time and energy each day, and searching for ways in which I can make each moment more meaningful.
I’m also taking a hard look at what it means to be a Crone, to cherish the aging process, and to look at this new era as an exciting one. Wherever you are in your life’s journey, I wish you time to explore yourself and your meaning to the world more fully, and more joyfully.
So, I hope that our connection and support of each other gives you energy and hope and the opportunity to delve more deeply into who you are meant to be. Please know, as always, I am grateful for my connection to you!
